Company registration in Somalia runs through the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and the formal registry is thinner than in most jurisdictions — many Somali businesses are evidenced instead by a chamber of commerce certificate, a municipal licence, or a notarised memorandum.
A US office expecting a state registry printout will not get one, and the honest translation states what the document is and which body issued it rather than dressing a chamber certificate up as a registrar's extract.

Documents from Somaliland are issued by authorities in Hargeisa that operate independently of Mogadishu, and a Somaliland registration certificate names a different ministry and a different register.
