The divorce is usually written on the marriage record

In most of Latin America a divorce does not replace the marriage certificate — it is recorded as a marginal annotation on the marriage entry itself. A certificate issued after the divorce carries the annotation; a certificate printed before it does not, and looks like a subsisting marriage.

What USCIS requires
The requirement is the same for every country: under 8 CFR 103.2(b)(3), a foreign-language document must be accompanied by a complete English translation and the translator's certification that it is accurate. Usually yes. The divorce is annotated on the marriage record, so only a certificate issued after the divorce carries it. An older copy will read as a marriage still in force.
