How we know · policy checked on October 27, 2026
Wentworth requires documents in another language to be accompanied by official English translations, and lists how transcripts and translations reach admissions; coursework or degrees from a non-US university need a NACES course-by-course report, and transfers also translate course descriptions.
Wentworth Institute of Technology accepts certified translations from professional services such as eVerbary. The NACES evaluation from CED, WES or TEC is something we do not provide.
Wentworth at a glance
Does it accept eVerbary? Yes
Wentworth's international page says documents in a language other than English must be accompanied by official English translations, without saying who makes them (international undergraduate); a certified translation from a professional service such as eVerbary is that kind of translation. Wentworth requirements in detail
Translation
Official English translations for documents not in English (International undergraduate admissions).
Who may translate
Not stated (International undergraduate admissions).
How documents arrive
Through Naviance or Parchment, by email from a school account, or by mail from the institution (International undergraduate admissions).
Evaluation
Non-US university coursework or degrees: a NACES Course-by-Course Report; CED, WES or TEC recommended (International undergraduate admissions, catalog).
Course descriptions
Every transfer applicant sends course descriptions, with official English translations, showing weekly lecture or lab hours and grades (International undergraduate admissions).
Graduate
The same NACES course-by-course report; bank documents not in English need an official translation (graduate international).
Transfer credit runs on course descriptions
Wentworth asks all transfer applicants, from US and non-US universities, for a catalog or syllabus with descriptions of every course completed, and descriptions in another language must carry official English translations (international undergraduate).
The records should show weekly lecture and laboratory hours and the grade for each course.
Credit from non-US universities also needs a NACES Course-by-Course Report, and coursework completed more than five years before you enroll is not eligible (catalog).
Getting translations to Wentworth
The page lists three channels for official transcripts, secondary exams and English translations: Naviance or Parchment through the Common Application, email from your counselor's school account, or mail from the institution (International undergraduate admissions).
It does not describe a separate route for a translation you order yourself, so ask admissions@wit.edu how to send it; eVerbary can email the certified translation directly to an admissions office on request.
For graduate applicants without official transcripts, Wentworth suggests asking the evaluator for a verified transcript copy (graduate international).

Uploading the translation to Wentworth
Translations travel with the transcripts through Naviance, Parchment, school email or mail (International undergraduate admissions). For the NACES report, the translation goes to the evaluator with your records.
What we do not do
eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.
For Wentworth that means we translate your records and course descriptions; the NACES course-by-course report comes from an evaluator.
How to order
- Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
- Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
- Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.
Frequently asked questions
