How we know · policy checked on October 27, 2026
Webber International University asks international first-year applicants for their official high school transcripts, the original and an English translation, and it does not say who must translate.
Webber International University accepts certified translations from professional services such as eVerbary.
International transfer applicants with 12 or more college credits also need an evaluation of their post-secondary studies by an approved service, such as WES or Josef Silny & Associates; that evaluation is something we do not provide.
Webber at a glance
Does it accept eVerbary? Yes
Webber's 2026-2027 catalog asks international first-year applicants for official high school transcripts, "original and English translation", without restricting who translates (2026-2027 catalog); a certified translation from a professional service such as eVerbary is that kind of translation. Webber requirements in detail
Translation (first-year)
Official high school transcripts, original and English translation (Catalog 2026-2027).
Who may translate
Not stated (Catalog 2026-2027).
Evaluation (transfer)
Applicants with 12 or more college semester hours: an evaluation of international post-secondary credentials by an approved service (Catalog 2026-2027); the transfer page names WES and Josef Silny, with others on request (transfer students).
Home-country exams
Documents standard in your country are accepted; students from the United Kingdom may submit A-level results instead of the SAT (Catalog 2026-2027).
Deposit
$1,000 before the I-20 is issued, refundable only if the visa is denied, applied to your bill (Catalog 2026-2027).
Originals
Transcripts received become Webber property and are not returned; do not send your only original (admissions process).
First-year: the original and its translation
For international first-year applicants, Webber's catalog lists the application, the official high school transcripts as an original and an English translation, and SAT, ACT or home-country exam results for native English speakers, or TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo for others (2026-2027 catalog).
Webber names no evaluation for first-year applicants and says it reads documents standard in your country against the generally accepted standards of international evaluation agencies.
Transcripts are kept and not returned, and Webber asks you not to send an original transcript or diploma if you have no other copies (Bachelor's admissions process).
Transfers: an evaluation from WES or Josef Silny
If you completed 12 or more college semester hours, you apply as an international transfer and add an evaluation of your post-secondary credentials by an approved service (Catalog 2026-2027).
Webber's transfer page names WES, which accepts a word-for-word translation from a professional translator, and Josef Silny & Associates, which asks for ATA-certified translators in the US; eVerbary can assign one on request (see below).
Credit is awarded only for academic courses with a C or better, and Webber completes a transfer evaluation before you enroll (transfer students).

What an eVerbary translation includes
- A complete English translation of every page, stamps, seals and handwritten notes included, laid out like the original so each line can be matched.
- Grades exactly as recorded, with the grading scale the document prints. We never convert marks to a US GPA.
- A signed certificate of translation accuracy on letterhead, with our contact details, delivered as a PDF you can upload.
- $24.95 per page of up to 250 words, certification included; 24 hours for one to three pages as standard. Regular clients who need it can get delivery in as little as 30 minutes, on request.
Uploading the translation to Webber
Send the original transcript and its translation to the Admissions Office (admissions@webber.edu, or 1201 North Scenic Highway, Babson Park, FL 33827) (Bachelor's admissions process).
eVerbary delivers a signed PDF; on request we can email the translation directly to the admissions office.
If you need a translator certified by ATA
Some offices accept only a translator who is personally certified by the American Translators Association (ATA). eVerbary assigns one on request, for the languages ATA certifies into English:
$34.95 per page
Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Chinese, Arabic, Russian and Ukrainian
$44.95 per page
Japanese, Korean, Polish, Dutch, Swedish, Croatian, Danish and Persian
To order it, ask for a free quote and write in the notes that the translation is for Webber, which program it is for, and that you need a translator individually certified by ATA, plus anything else the office asks for (notarization, delivery by email to the office).
We confirm the price and the translator before you pay. ATA does not certify other languages into English, so no translator anywhere holds ATA certification for them.
For those languages we provide a notarized certified translation instead, at $44.95 per page plus notarization ($34.90 per order); ask the office to confirm it accepts that, and write its answer in the quote notes.
What we do not do
eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.
For Webber that means we translate your transcripts; the evaluation that transfer applicants need is ordered by you from WES, Josef Silny or another approved service.
How to order
- Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
- Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
- Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.
Frequently asked questions
What does Webber need for a high school transcript in another language?
The official transcript, original and English translation (Catalog 2026-2027).
Do first-year applicants need a credential evaluation?
Webber's catalog asks for one from international transfers with 12 or more college credits, not from first-year applicants (Catalog 2026-2027).
Which evaluation services does Webber accept for transfers?
Recognized foreign credential evaluation services such as WES or Josef Silny; ask Admissions for others (Transfer students).
Can eVerbary provide an ATA-certified translator for Josef Silny?
Yes, on request. Ask for a free quote and write in the notes that the translation is for a Webber evaluation and needs a translator individually certified by ATA. ATA certifies Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Chinese, Arabic, Russian and Ukrainian ($34.95 per page) and Japanese, Korean, Polish, Dutch, Swedish, Croatian, Danish and Persian ($44.95 per page) into English; no other languages.
Will eVerbary convert my grades to a US GPA?
No. The translation reproduces the grades and the grading scale exactly as they appear. A GPA conversion is credential evaluation, which the institution or an evaluation agency does.
