Trident Technical College asks students from abroad to document the equivalent of high school completion and requires an evaluation report of those documents from a NACES member; credit for college work abroad needs an official course-by-course report.
Trident Tech's evaluation agencies, such as WES and ECE, accept certified translations from professional services such as eVerbary, and TTC itself notes that evaluation services may require certified translations. The evaluation comes from the agency, not from us.

Sample translation: a Mexican high school certificate
This is what an order looks like when it is delivered, with invented names, school and numbers. The original in Spanish sits next to our English translation, and the PDF starts with the signed certification page. Bracketed text in the translation is a translator's note: each abbreviation is spelled out the first time it appears, and the layout follows the original line for line, so an admissions officer or a credential evaluator can match it without guessing.

What to notice
- CCT, CURP and the state abbreviation Jal. are spelled out in brackets the first time they appear, so an evaluator does not have to look up a Mexican acronym.
- Courtesy and degree titles (C., Mtra., Lic.) are kept as printed and explained once; names keep both surnames in place.
- Grades stay on the 5-to-10 scale the certificate prints, with its minimum passing grade. Converting them is the evaluator's job.
- The six semesters keep the certificate's two columns, and the seal, signatures and QR code are described in brackets where they appear.

Trident Tech requirements in detail
Translation
TTC states no translation rule of its own, but notes evaluation services may require certified translations of documents (Credential evaluation).
Who may translate
Set by the NACES agency: WES wants a professional translator; ECE accepts a literal translation.
Admission
Documentation of the equivalent of high school completion, with an evaluation report of the documents (Admission requirements: students from abroad).
Evaluator
Only members of NACES are considered (Credential evaluation).
Transfer credit
An official course-by-course report, sent directly by the service or in a sealed envelope (Credential evaluation).
Health Sciences and Nursing
A report covering all institutions attended abroad, plus official transcripts from every US institution (Credential evaluation).
Translation for the agency, evaluation for TTC
TTC explains the order itself: most evaluation services want official transcripts sent by the foreign school directly to them, and they may also require certified translations; the student pays the fee and handles all contact with the service (credential evaluation).
WES asks for an exact, word-for-word translation by a professional translator and does not accept translations by applicants.
ECE accepts complete, literal translations, including your own, or translates internally for an $85 waiver.
Which report for which purpose
For admission, the evaluation documents the equivalent of high school completion, so translate the diploma and final-year records (admission requirements). For transfer credit, ask for a course-by-course report.
Health Sciences and Nursing applicants need a report that covers every institution attended abroad, whether or not a degree was awarded (Credential evaluation).
Need a certified translation for Trident Tech?
$24.95 per page of up to 250 words, certification included, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages. See the price before you pay.

- High school diploma or secondary completion certificate
- High school transcripts

What an eVerbary translation includes
- A complete English translation of every page, stamps, seals and handwritten notes included, laid out like the original so each line can be matched.
- Grades exactly as recorded, with the grading scale the document prints. We never convert marks to a US GPA.
- A signed certificate of translation accuracy on letterhead, with our contact details, delivered as a PDF you can upload.
- $24.95 per page of up to 250 words, certification included; 24 hours for one to three pages as standard. Regular clients who need it can get delivery in as little as 30 minutes, on request.
Uploading the translation to Trident Tech
The translation goes to the NACES agency with your records; the agency sends its report directly to TTC, or you deliver it in a sealed envelope (Credential evaluation).
What we do not do
eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.
For Trident Tech that means we translate your records for the agency; the NACES evaluation is ordered and paid by you.
How to order
- Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
- Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
- Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.
Frequently asked questions
Which evaluation agencies does Trident Tech accept?
Any member of NACES (Credential evaluation).
Do I need an evaluation to be admitted?
Yes. TTC requires an evaluation report of your secondary completion documents (Admission requirements: students from abroad).
Does the agency need a translation?
It may: TTC notes that evaluation services may require certified translations (Credential evaluation). WES, for one, does (WES).
What do Nursing applicants need?
An evaluation report covering all institutions attended abroad, plus all US transcripts (Credential evaluation).
Will eVerbary convert my grades to a US GPA?
No. The translation reproduces the grades and the grading scale exactly as they appear. A GPA conversion is credential evaluation, which the institution or an evaluation agency does.
