Panola College accepts certified translations from professional services such as eVerbary. Coursework from a college abroad needs a NACES evaluation, which we do not provide.

Who may translate
Not stated (International students).
Original
An official copy of the secondary school transcript in the native language goes with the translation (catalog).
Evaluation
Only for coursework from a college or university outside the US: an evaluation by a NACES member; Panola recommends ECE, WES or Global Credential Evaluators (International students).
Deadlines
Apply by June 1 for fall and November 1 for spring; all requirements must be on file at least 60 days before the first class day (International students).
Fee
$50 non-refundable application fee for international students (International students).
The high school transcript Panola reads
Panola admits on the high school record itself, without an evaluation: the catalog asks for the transcript in its original language, and the admissions page for a certified English translation that shows completed courses, grades and the date of graduation, at least equivalent to a US diploma (catalog, International students).
If the official transcripts show English proficiency, the TOEFL requirement may be waived, so translate any record of English-medium study as well.
Transfers from a college abroad
Foreign college coursework is considered case by case and needs an evaluation of your courses by a NACES member; Panola names ECE, WES and Global Credential Evaluators (International students).
WES wants a word-for-word translation by a professional translator, and ECE accepts a complete, literal translation or sells an $85 waiver.
Transfer students also need a minimum 2.0 GPA and in-status enrollment in the previous term.

- Grades exactly as recorded, with the grading scale the document prints. We never convert marks to a US GPA.
- A signed certificate of translation accuracy on letterhead, with our contact details, delivered as a PDF you can upload.
- $24.95 per page of up to 250 words, certification included; 24 hours for one to three pages as standard. Regular clients who need it can get delivery in as little as 30 minutes, on request.
Uploading the translation to Panola
Send the native-language transcript and its certified translation with your international application to the Student Center, so the file is complete 60 days before classes (International students).
We can send the translation directly to the admissions office by email on request.
What we do not do
eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.
For Panola that means we translate your records; the NACES evaluation of foreign college coursework is ordered by you from the agency.
How to order
- Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
- Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
- Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.
Frequently asked questions
Does Panola College accept an eVerbary translation?
Panola asks for a certified English translation and does not say who must make it (International students); a certified translation from a professional service qualifies.
Do I still send the original transcript?
Yes: an official copy in the native language goes with the translation (Catalog: international students).
Do I need a credential evaluation?
Only for coursework from a college or university outside the US (International students).
When must my documents arrive?
At least 60 days before the first class day; the application deadlines are June 1 and November 1 (International students).
Will eVerbary convert my grades to a US GPA?
No. The translation reproduces the grades and the grading scale exactly as they appear. A GPA conversion is credential evaluation, which the institution or an evaluation agency does.
