How we know · policy checked on October 27, 2026
North Park University requires international transfer students with coursework from a foreign institution, and graduate applicants with degrees earned outside the US, to submit a course-by-course evaluation from One Earth Evaluations, ECE, WES or Educational Perspectives; first-year transcripts are sent by a school official, and Scandinavian secondary records need no external evaluation or translation.
North Park's evaluation agencies, such as WES, ECE and One Earth, accept certified translations from professional services such as eVerbary. The evaluation itself is something we do not produce.

Worth knowing about North Park
Four named agencies
One Earth, ECE, WES, Educational Perspectives.
Course by course
For transfer and graduate applicants.
Scandinavia: no translation
North Park reads those records itself.
North Park requirements in detail
Translation
No rule of its own; foreign college records reach North Park through the evaluation (International transfer students).
Who may translate
Set by the evaluation agency; see below.
Transfer evaluation
Course by course from One Earth Evaluations, ECE, WES or Educational Perspectives; ask admissions@northpark.edu before using another service (International transfer students).
Graduate evaluation
Degrees earned outside the US: course by course from the same four agencies (graduate international).
First-year transcripts
Submitted by a principal, administrator, teacher or counselor; student-submitted transcripts are not accepted (first-year international).
Scandinavian students
North Park evaluates Scandinavian secondary transcripts itself, with no external evaluation or translation (Scandinavian students).
After admission
If a semester was in progress, a final transcript and updated evaluation; North Park then does an internal credit review (International transfer students).
What each evaluation agency asks for the translation
WES wants an exact, word-for-word translation by a professional translator and does not translate. ECE accepts any complete, literal translation, including your own, or translates internally for an $85 waiver.
Educational Perspectives accepts translations from a reputable agency or a certified professional translator.
One Earth asks for literal, word-for-word translations in the same format as the original and in most cases lets applicants translate themselves. A certified translation from eVerbary meets all four rules.
First-year, transfer, graduate, Scandinavian
North Park's rules differ by applicant. First-year students need transcripts sent by a school official and the page sets no translation or evaluation rule (International first-year students).
Transfer students with foreign coursework and graduate applicants with a foreign degree need the course-by-course report (International transfer students; Graduate international admissions).
Students from Scandinavian secondary schools are the exception: North Park evaluates their transcripts and issues a preliminary evaluation and admission letter for national student loan agencies, without an external evaluation or translation (Scandinavian students).

What an eVerbary translation includes
- A complete English translation of every page, stamps, seals and handwritten notes included, laid out like the original so each line can be matched.
- Grades exactly as recorded, with the grading scale the document prints. We never convert marks to a US GPA.
- A signed certificate of translation accuracy on letterhead, with our contact details, delivered as a PDF you can upload.
- $24.95 per page of up to 250 words, certification included; 24 hours for one to three pages as standard. Regular clients who need it can get delivery in as little as 30 minutes, on request.
Uploading the translation to North Park
The translation goes to the agency with your records; the agency sends its course-by-course evaluation to North Park, which then reviews it for credit (International transfer students).
What we do not do
eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.
For North Park that means we translate your records; the course-by-course evaluation is ordered by you from One Earth, ECE, WES or Educational Perspectives.
How to order
- Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
- Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
- Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.
Frequently asked questions
Which evaluation agencies does North Park accept?
One Earth Evaluations, ECE, WES and Educational Perspectives; ask admissions@northpark.edu before using another (International transfer students).
Do graduate applicants need an evaluation?
Yes, course by course, if the degree was earned outside the US (Graduate international admissions).
I studied at a Scandinavian secondary school. Do I need a translation?
No. North Park evaluates those transcripts itself, without an external evaluation or translation (Scandinavian students).
Can I submit my own high school transcript?
No. A school official must submit it (International first-year students).
Will eVerbary convert my grades to a US GPA?
No. The translation reproduces the grades and the grading scale exactly as they appear. A GPA conversion is credential evaluation, which the institution or an evaluation agency does.
