Worth knowing about MC

For every secondary school transcript.

QuantiFERON, before in-person classes.

MC requirements in detail

Translation

Transcripts of all secondary educational institutions with certified English translations (International admission requirements).

Who may translate

Evaluation

At MC's discretion, a course-by-course evaluation at your expense from a trusted service it selects (International admission requirements).

Graduate applicants

Transcripts showing the graduation date; possibly a course-by-course evaluation from an AICE or NACES member (International admission requirements).

Financial proof

Current bank statements from a parent or sponsor covering one full year, with the International Financial Verification Form (International admission requirements).

I-20

Not issued until the original application documents and the seat deposit are in (International admission requirements).

A translation first, an evaluation only if MC asks

MC reads your secondary school transcripts with their certified English translations, and keeps the right to ask for a course-by-course evaluation from a trusted service it chooses, paid by you (International admission requirements).

Wait for that request rather than ordering an evaluation in advance, since MC selects the service. Graduate applicants follow a similar rule with AICE or NACES members.

Mississippi College, renamed

The university at mc.edu now calls itself Mississippi Christian University; Open Doors 2025 still lists it as Mississippi College, fourth in Mississippi for international students.

Its International Institute in Clinton handles admission, the seat deposit and the I-20, and asks for MMR vaccination records before arrival and a QuantiFERON TB screening in the US (International admission requirements).

What an eVerbary translation includes

  • A complete English translation of every page, stamps, seals and handwritten notes included, laid out like the original so each line can be matched.
  • Grades exactly as recorded, with the grading scale the document prints. We never convert marks to a US GPA.
  • A signed certificate of translation accuracy on letterhead, with our contact details, delivered as a PDF you can upload.
  • $24.95 per page of up to 250 words, certification included; 24 hours for one to three pages as standard. Regular clients who need it can get delivery in as little as 30 minutes, on request.

Uploading the translation to MC

  • Send the transcripts and their certified English translations to MC's International Institute with your application documents (International admission requirements).

  • We can send the translation directly to the admissions office by email on request.

What we do not do

eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.

For MC that means we translate your records; any course-by-course evaluation MC asks for is ordered by you from the service it selects.

How to order

  1. Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
  2. Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
  3. Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.

Frequently asked questions

Does Mississippi Christian University accept an eVerbary translation?

MC asks for certified English translations and does not say who must make them (International admission requirements); a certified translation from a professional service qualifies.

Do I need a credential evaluation?

Only if MC asks for one, from a service it selects (International admission requirements).

Is this the same as Mississippi College?

Yes, mc.edu is the former Mississippi College in Clinton, now using the name Mississippi Christian University.

What must graduate transcripts show?

Your graduation date (International admission requirements).

Will eVerbary convert my grades to a US GPA?

No. The translation reproduces the grades and the grading scale exactly as they appear. A GPA conversion is credential evaluation, which the institution or an evaluation agency does.
