How we know · policy checked on October 27, 2026
La Salle asks international applicants for official records in the original language accompanied by officially certified English translations, and does not say who must translate them.
La Salle University accepts certified translations from professional services such as eVerbary.
Records themselves must come from a school official, transfers may send an evaluation instead, and graduate applicants need a NACES course-by-course evaluation, which we do not provide.
La Salle at a glance
Does it accept eVerbary? Yes
La Salle's international requirements ask for records "accompanied by officially certified English translations" and do not restrict who translates (international admission); a certified translation from a professional service such as eVerbary is that kind of translation.
Its country table makes one exception: Honduran records with translations by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (home country requirements). Policy checked on October 27, 2026.

La Salle requirements in detail
Translation
Originals or certified copies in the institution's language, accompanied by officially certified English translations (International admissions).
Who may translate
Not stated, except Honduras: translations prepared only by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (country table).
First-year records
Transcripts and school reports from every high school, sent by a school official, with final transcript, leaving exam scores and qualifying exams such as IGCSE or India's Class 10 certificate (International admissions).
How records arrive
By mail, or by email to admiss@lasalle.edu from a school official's institutional account; La Salle may ask for documents by post (International admissions).
Transfers
Translated secondary records and national exam results, or an official evaluation instead (needed with fewer than 30 US credits and for Nursing and Health Sciences); a course-by-course evaluation for any college courses abroad (International admissions).
Graduate
A course-by-course evaluation from any NACES member, and an evaluation for any transcript not in English; TEC offers a discounted form (evaluation services).
Deadlines
Rolling review; a decision within 1–2 weeks of a complete file (International admissions).
Translations and the school-official rule
La Salle defines official records strictly: originals or certified copies carrying the seal of the issuing institution or Ministry of Education, signed by an appropriate authority, in the institution's language and accompanied by officially certified English translations.
They arrive by mail or by email from a designated school official using an institution-owned account, and La Salle states it cannot accept academic records from students (international admission).
The page does not say whether the translation must travel with the records or may follow separately.
Many applicants give the certified translation to their school so the counselor sends both together; if that is not possible, ask admiss@lasalle.edu how to send it before you order.
Either way, translate every page: La Salle asks for the final transcript, leaving exam scores and all qualifying exams taken during secondary school (International admissions).
The country table
La Salle's home country requirements list, for each country, the records, the suggested grade average and the certificate it expects, such as the Bachillerato in Argentina, the Baccalauréat in Algeria or the Diploma e Pjekurisë in Albania, and whether English proficiency must be proven.
One entry sets a translator: for Honduras, records come through the Ministry of Education with English translations prepared only by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
That rule is stricter than the general one, and a private translation, ours included, does not meet it.
Transfers and graduate applicants
International transfers send their secondary records with official English translations or, in their place, an official evaluation from a recognized service; secondary records are only required with fewer than the equivalent of 30 US credits, and for every applicant to the School of Nursing and Health Sciences.
College courses taken abroad always need an original course-by-course evaluation (International admissions).
Graduate applicants need a course-by-course evaluation of coursework outside the US, and La Salle adds that an evaluation is also needed for any transcript not provided in English; it accepts any NACES member and links a discounted TEC form (evaluation services).
The agency sets the translation rule; WES, a NACES member, wants a word-for-word translation by a professional translator or service (WES).

- A signed certificate of translation accuracy on letterhead, with our contact details, delivered as a PDF you can upload.

Uploading the translation to La Salle
Records and their certified translations go to the International Admissions Office by mail (1900 West Olney Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19141) or by email to admiss@lasalle.edu from a school official's institutional account (International admissions).
For a graduate or transfer evaluation, the translation goes to the NACES agency with your records, and the agency sends its original evaluation to La Salle (International evaluation services).
What we do not do
eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.
For La Salle that means we translate your records; we cannot send them as your school official, and the course-by-course evaluation for transfer or graduate study comes from a NACES agency.
How to order
- Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
- Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
- Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.
Frequently asked questions
What kind of translation does La Salle require?
Officially certified English translations that accompany the original-language records; La Salle does not say who must make them (International admissions).
Can I email my own transcripts and translations to La Salle?
La Salle accepts electronic records only from a designated school official's institutional email and does not accept academic records from students (International admissions). Ask admiss@lasalle.edu how to send a translation you ordered yourself.
I am from Honduras. Can I use a private translation?
La Salle's country table asks for Honduran records with English translations prepared only by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Home country requirements).
Do graduate applicants need a translation or an evaluation?
A NACES course-by-course evaluation, which La Salle also requires for transcripts not in English (International evaluation services); the agency asks for the translation.
Will eVerbary convert my grades to a US GPA?
No. The translation reproduces the grades and the grading scale exactly as they appear. A GPA conversion is credential evaluation, which the institution or an evaluation agency does.
