How we know · policy checked on October 27, 2026
Goldey-Beacom College asks international undergraduate applicants for secondary transcripts or a diploma, with final exam or course grades, translated into English, and graduate applicants for post-secondary records translated if they are not in English; it does not say who must translate.
Goldey-Beacom College accepts certified translations from professional services such as eVerbary. Credits from an international institution count only after an evaluation by a group such as WES or SpanTran, which we do not provide.

Goldey-Beacom requirements in detail
Translation (undergraduate)
Secondary school transcripts and/or diploma with final exam or course grades, translated into English (International admissions).
Translation (graduate)
Transcripts, mark sheets and the diploma or degree certificate for all post-secondary work; documents not in English must be translated (International admissions).
Who may translate
Not stated (International admissions).
Evaluation
Only to transfer credits from an international institution: a third-party credential group such as World Education Services or SpanTran (International admissions).
Other visa statuses
Applicants in H4, L2, TN and similar statuses send the same translated records, without the F-1 financial documents (International admissions).
Financial (F-1)
Bank statements naming the account holder and two months of paystubs; a sponsor adds a notarized Affidavit of Support (International admissions).
Timing
No application deadlines; Goldey-Beacom recommends applying no later than three weeks before the session starts (International admissions).
One translation rule for every visa status
Goldey-Beacom lists two sets of requirements, one for F-1 students (including a change of status to F-1) and one for applicants who attend in another status such as H4, L2 or TN.
The translation rule is the same in both: undergraduates send secondary transcripts or the diploma with final exam or course grades translated into English, and graduate applicants send every post-secondary transcript, mark sheet and degree certificate, translated when not in English (international admissions).
Translate the grade pages and the final exam results, not only the diploma.
Only F-1 applicants add financial evidence: bank statements that clearly show the account holder and two months of paystubs, and, when someone else pays, a notarized Affidavit of Support with that person's bank statement (International admissions).
A bank statement in another language should be translated with your records.
Credit from a school abroad: WES or SpanTran
Admission works from the translated records, but credits from an international institution count toward a Goldey-Beacom degree only after a third-party credential verification group, such as World Education Services or SpanTran, evaluates the transcripts (International admissions).
The agencies set their own translation rules: WES accepts a word-for-word translation from a professional translator, while SpanTran, now The Evaluation Company, takes outside translations only from ATA-certified translators. eVerbary can assign an ATA-certified translator on request through a free quote.
The college has no application deadlines and starts sessions through the year; graduate business programs offer Day 1 CPT to eligible students (International admissions). If you plan to transfer credit, order the evaluation early, since it takes longer than the translation.

Uploading the translation to Goldey-Beacom
Upload the original records and their English translations with the online application; F-1 financial documents go with the same application (International admissions). For transfer credit, the translation also goes to WES or SpanTran with your transcripts.
On request we can email the translation directly to the admissions office.
What we do not do
eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.
For Goldey-Beacom that means we translate your records and bank documents; the evaluation for international transfer credit is ordered by you from WES, SpanTran or a similar agency.
How to order
- Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
- Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
- Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.
Frequently asked questions
What translation does Goldey-Beacom accept?
Records translated into English; it does not say who must translate (International admissions). A certified translation from a professional service such as eVerbary qualifies.
Do I need a credential evaluation to be admitted?
Not for admission. An evaluation by a group such as WES or SpanTran is needed only to transfer credits from an international institution (International admissions).
I am on an H4 or L2 visa. Do I still need translations?
Yes. The requirements for other visa statuses ask for the same records translated into English (International admissions).
When is the application deadline?
There is none; Goldey-Beacom recommends applying at least three weeks before the session starts (International admissions).
Can eVerbary provide an ATA-certified translator for a SpanTran evaluation?
Yes, on request. Ask for a free quote and note that the translation is for a SpanTran evaluation for Goldey-Beacom College and needs a translator individually certified by ATA. ATA certifies Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Chinese, Arabic, Russian and Ukrainian ($34.95 per page) and Japanese, Korean, Polish, Dutch, Swedish, Croatian, Danish and Persian ($44.95 per page) into English; no other languages.
Will eVerbary convert my grades to a US GPA?
No. The translation reproduces the grades and the grading scale exactly as they appear. A GPA conversion is credential evaluation, which the institution or an evaluation agency does.
