A translation service, and a notary
CCM is one of the few New Jersey colleges that says who must translate.
The admissions page asks for a notarized secondary school transcript translated into English by a verified translation service when you are seeking an associate degree (international students).
The catalog says the same in stricter words: transcripts from non-English-speaking countries must be translated to English and notarized by an official translating agency, and personal translations will not be accepted (catalog).
A certified translation from eVerbary, with notarization added at checkout for $34.90 per order, covers both parts. Do not translate the transcript yourself or ask a relative: CCM refuses personal translations.
If you are taking courses without seeking a degree, the admissions page ties the translated transcript to degree seekers; confirm with Admissions what you need.
Who CCM admits right now
CCM has suspended F-1 international admissions.
Other eligible nonimmigrant visa holders, such as E, J, H and L, authorized to stay for a limited period, may still apply, and B-1/B-2 holders are not allowed to enroll in a course of study (International student admissions).
These applicants use a paper application, not the online one, and mail it with a $30 fee, the translated transcript and a copy of a valid visa to the Admissions Office in Randolph.
Students already in the US take the LOEP placement test at CCM instead of the TOEFL; those applying from abroad need TOEFL iBT 32 or IELTS 5 (catalog).
Credit for university study abroad
To receive transfer credit for a university you attended overseas, you send your transcript to a verified evaluation agency, such as WES, and request a course-by-course evaluation (International student admissions).
The catalog names WES and SpanTran: The Evaluation Company and points to NACES for the complete list (catalog).
Those agencies have their own translation rules: WES accepts a professional translation (WES), while The Evaluation Company accepts outside translations only from ATA-certified translators (TEC), which eVerbary can provide on request.

- Grades exactly as recorded, with the grading scale the document prints. We never convert marks to a US GPA.
- A signed certificate of translation accuracy on letterhead, with our contact details, delivered as a PDF you can upload.
- $24.95 per page of up to 250 words, certification included; 24 hours for one to three pages as standard. Regular clients who need it can get delivery in as little as 30 minutes, on request.
Uploading the translation to CCM
Mail the paper application, the $30 fee, the notarized translated transcript and a copy of your visa to the CCM Admissions Office, 214 Center Grove Road, Randolph (International student admissions).
eVerbary can also mail the translation to CCM in a sealed, signed envelope: choose the hard copy at checkout with the Admissions Office's address ($19.95 Priority or $37.95 Express in the US) and write in the order notes that it is for CCM.
What we do not do
eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.
For CCM that means we translate and notarize your secondary school transcript; the course-by-course evaluation for transfer credit comes from an evaluation agency.
How to order
- Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
- Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
- Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.
