High school transcripts: by a translation service, into English or Spanish
CWI is one of the few colleges that names who translates: degree- and certificate-seeking international students submit official high school transcripts translated by a translation service, into English or Spanish (international students). See high school diploma translation.
College credit: three recommended evaluators
For study after high school, CWI accepts evaluations only from NACES or AICE members, sent directly by the agency (international student resources). It recommends three, and their translation rules differ.
WES accepts a word-for-word translation by a professional service, not the applicant's own. ECE accepts literal translations, including the applicant's own, or sells an $85 Translation Waiver.
Global Credential Evaluators accepts translations from the issuing university, the Ministry of Education or an ATA-certified translator; eVerbary can assign an ATA-certified translator on request through a free quote.

- A signed certificate of translation accuracy on letterhead, with our contact details, delivered as a PDF you can upload.
- $24.95 per page of up to 250 words, certification included; 24 hours for one to three pages as standard. Regular clients who need it can get delivery in as little as 30 minutes, on request.
Uploading the translation to CWI
Submit official high school transcripts and their translation to CWI after applying, and add onestop@cwi.edu to your contacts for CWI's messages (College of Western Idaho: international students). eVerbary can email the translation directly to CWI on request.
For college credit, the translation goes to the evaluator with your records, and the evaluator sends its report directly to CWI (College of Western Idaho: international student resources).
What we do not do
eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.
At CWI that means the evaluation for college credit comes from WES, ECE, Global Credential Evaluators or another NACES or AICE member; we translate the records.
How to order
- Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
- Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
- Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.
