Requirements checked on October 28, 2026 from AHU's public pages (sources).

AdventHealth University (AHU) requires a credential evaluation with GPA for any high school or college work done outside the US, and says documents in a foreign language must be translated into English by a separate translation company and sent with the official transcripts to the evaluation company.

AdventHealth University accepts certified translations from professional services such as eVerbary.

Only WES, ECE, Academic Evaluation Services and Josef Silny evaluations count; the evaluation itself is something we do not produce.

Sample translation: a Congolese secondary school transcript

This is what an order looks like when it is delivered, with a fictitious student. The PDF starts with the signed certification page, and the translation follows the original line for line: every abbreviation is explained, stamps, seals and signatures are noted in brackets, and the grid stays the same, so an admissions officer or a credential evaluator can match it without guessing.

What to notice

  • Two school years in the same grid as the original: every subject, grading period, exam and total, so each grade can be read against its maximum.
  • The French rating abbreviations are translated (TB becomes VG, Very good), and every abbreviation is explained in a translator's note at the foot of the same page, including one the original never defines.
  • Dates are written the US way (the original's 02/07/2015 is February 7, 2015).
  • The photo, seals and signatures are noted in brackets where they appear.

Worth knowing about AHU

Separate translation company

Not the evaluator, not the applicant.

Four evaluators only

WES, ECE, AES, Josef Silny; others discarded.

GPA 2.70 minimum

The evaluation must show a GPA.

AHU requirements in detail

Translation

Documents in a foreign language translated into English by a separate translation company, sent with the official transcripts to the evaluation company (AHU: international student admissions).

Who may translate

A separate translation company (AHU: international student admissions).

Evaluation

Required for high school or college work outside the US, with GPA, from WES, ECE, Academic Evaluation Services or Josef Silny; others are not considered (AHU: international student admissions).

Report type

WES: document-by-document for high school, course-by-course for college. ECE and Josef Silny: course-by-course. AES: grade evaluation or comprehensive (AHU: international student admissions).

GPA

Minimum unweighted 2.70; international students cannot be admitted on probation (AHU: international student admissions).

Graduate and post-baccalaureate

Programs that use a centralized application system require WES (AHU: post-baccalaureate admissions).

Cost

Applicants pay for the reports; Josef Silny charges an extra fee to include the GPA (AHU: international student admissions).

Translation first, then one of four evaluators

AHU's international admissions page sets the order: a separate translation company translates your documents, and you submit those translations together with your official transcripts to the evaluation company.

The evaluator then sends AHU a report with a GPA. The undergraduate checklist sums it up as international transcripts that must be evaluated and translated into English, with a GPA.

AHU accepts reports from only four companies, and says evaluations from any other company are not considered and are not kept in your file.

WES wants an exact, word-for-word translation by a professional translator (WES); ECE asks for complete, literal translations in the original format (ECE); Josef Silny accepts outside translations from ATA-certified translators in the US and also translates in-house (Josef Silny).

Because AHU itself asks for a separate translation company, a professional translation is the safe choice whichever evaluator you pick.

Which report to order

For high school work, AHU lists WES Basic document-by-document, ECE course-by-course, AES grade evaluation or Josef Silny course-by-course.

For college work, WES Basic course-by-course, ECE course-by-course, AES comprehensive or Josef Silny course-by-course, paying Josef Silny's extra fee for the GPA (AHU: international student admissions).

AHU requires a minimum unweighted GPA of 2.70 across all colleges, and international students cannot be admitted on probation.

Graduate applicants whose program uses a centralized application system must use WES (post-baccalaureate admissions), so order WES from the start if you plan to apply that way.

What an eVerbary translation includes

  • A complete English translation of every page, stamps, seals and handwritten notes included, laid out like the original so each line can be matched.
  • Grades exactly as recorded, with the grading scale the document prints. We never convert marks to a US GPA.
  • A signed certificate of translation accuracy on letterhead, with our contact details, delivered as a PDF you can upload.
  • $24.95 per page of up to 250 words, certification included; 24 hours for one to three pages as standard. Regular clients who need it can get delivery in as little as 30 minutes, on request.

Uploading the translation to AHU

  • Send the translations with your official transcripts to WES, ECE, AES or Josef Silny, following that company's instructions; the evaluation goes to AHU (AHU: international student admissions).

  • Official transcripts reach AHU hand-delivered in a sealed envelope, by mail to the Office of Admissions, 671 Winyah Drive, Orlando, or electronically to Admissions@ahu.edu (AHU: international student admissions).

What we do not do

eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.

For AHU that means we translate your records for the evaluation company; the evaluation with GPA comes from WES, ECE, AES or Josef Silny.

How to order

  1. Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
  2. Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
  3. Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.
