Registered online with RDB
Rwandan companies are registered with the Office of the Registrar General at the Rwanda Development Board (RDB), mostly online. The certificate of incorporation and the memorandum generated during registration are usually in English, and an English document needs no translation.
Companies are governed by Law n° 007/2021 governing companies, amended in 2023 to require beneficial ownership information. Articles of association are optional at registration, so many companies have none to submit.
What does need translating
