There is no Philippine divorce decree
The Philippines is the only UN member state apart from Vatican City that does not permit divorce for its general population. So there is no such thing as a Philippine divorce decree for most Filipinos, and an office asking for one is asking for a document that does not exist.
What exists instead is a declaration of absolute nullity of a void marriage, an annulment of a voidable one under Article 45 of the Family Code, divorce under the Code of Muslim Personal Laws for Filipino Muslims married under Muslim law, or a judicial recognition of a foreign divorce. They make different legal claims and the translation keeps them distinct rather than flattening all of them into "divorce".
What the paperwork looks like
A court decision comes with an entry of judgment or certificate of finality, and the outcome is then annotated on the PSA marriage record. An office frequently wants both the decision and the annotated PSA copy — see our Philippine marriage certificate page.
Philippine documents are largely in English, so a translation is often not needed at all; some offices require a certification for any foreign document regardless. Ask before ordering, because you may need nothing. Where Arabic or a regional language appears in a Shari'a court document, that does need translating.

Is an annulment the same as a divorce?
No, and we do not translate it as one. An annulment says the marriage was voidable or void; a divorce ends a valid marriage. Flattening the difference misstates the document.
