The boliviano is pegged, and dollars are scarce
Bolivia has held the boliviano at an effectively fixed rate against the dollar for many years, so a boliviano balance converts at one stable number — but access to physical dollars has been constrained, and dollar accounts and transfers have faced practical limits.
So a Bolivian household may show a large boliviano balance and no dollar position, which reflects availability rather than choice. We reproduce the currency and any rate the statement prints.
The cédula, and its departmental suffix
Bolivian financial documents carry the cédula de identidad number, frequently followed by a departmental suffix — LP, CB, SC — which is part of the identifier rather than an abbreviation to be dropped.
A number transcribed without it does not identify the document. Entity accounts carry a NIT, and we reproduce each as labelled.
The ITF, and the charges
Bolivian statements show the ITF — the financial transactions tax — as a small deduction on movements, alongside maintenance charges.

Banks and cooperativas de ahorro y crédito, which are supervised financial institutions, issue a certificación bancaria on letterhead, stamped and signed, which is what a consulate generally requires.
