Frequently asked questions

Do I need certified translations for Form I-130?

For every document in a language other than English, yes: a complete English translation with the translator's certification that it is complete and accurate and that they are competent to translate (8 CFR 103.2(b)(3)). Documents already in English need nothing.

Do the translations have to be notarized?

No. USCIS and the NVC ask for a certified translation, not a notarized one.

How much does it cost?

$24.95 per page of up to 250 words. Most certificates are one or two pages; most orders are delivered within a few hours, and 1–3 pages within 24 hours at most.
