Wagner asks international applicants for an official copy of their transcripts in the original language, accompanied by a certified English translation, and does not say who must translate.

Graduate applicants also need a course-by-course evaluation from a NACES member, which we do not provide; first-year applicants are not asked for one.
Wagner at a glance
Does it accept eVerbary? Yes
Wagner's first-year checklist asks for secondary transcripts "accompanied by a certified English translation" and does not restrict who translates (first-year requirements); a certified translation from a professional service such as eVerbary is that kind of translation. Wagner requirements in detail
Translation (first-year)
Official copy of secondary transcripts in the original language, with a certified English translation if not in English (First-year application requirements and checklist).
Who may translate
Not stated (First-year application requirements and checklist).
What records must show
Courses completed, grades or marks, and any certificate or degree awarded (First-year application requirements and checklist).
Graduate
Official post-secondary transcripts in the original language with a certified English translation and an evaluation, course-by-course, by a NACES member (graduate admissions).
Who counts as international
A student who needs a visa to study in the US; deadlines follow the plan you apply under (First-year application requirements and checklist).
Deadlines
Early Action November 15; Regular Decision March 15; Physician Assistant and Theatre November 15 (First-year application requirements and checklist).
The original and the translation travel together
Wagner's international checklist asks for the official transcript in the language it was issued in, accompanied by the certified English translation, and the records must show courses, marks and the certificate or degree awarded (First-year application requirements and checklist).
Translate the leaving certificate or diploma along with the year-by-year transcript, so the award Wagner asks to see is in English too. First-year applicants are not asked for a credential evaluation.
Graduate study: translation and NACES evaluation
Every graduate program, from nursing to business, carries the same international block: post-secondary transcripts in the original language, accompanied by a certified English translation and evaluation, with the evaluation done course by course by a NACES member (Graduate admissions).
Agencies have their own translation rules. WES wants a word-for-word translation by a professional translator or service (WES); ECE accepts any complete, literal translation (ECE). One certified translation can go to Wagner and to the agency.

What an eVerbary translation includes
- A complete English translation of every page, stamps, seals and handwritten notes included, laid out like the original so each line can be matched.
- Grades exactly as recorded, with the grading scale the document prints. We never convert marks to a US GPA.
- A signed certificate of translation accuracy on letterhead, with our contact details, delivered as a PDF you can upload.
- $24.95 per page of up to 250 words, certification included; 24 hours for one to three pages as standard. Regular clients who need it can get delivery in as little as 30 minutes, on request.
Uploading the translation to Wagner
First-year applicants apply through the Common Application or Wagner's own application and send the official transcript with its translation to Admissions (First-year application requirements and checklist).
Graduate documents go to Wagner College Graduate Admissions, One Campus Road, Staten Island, NY 10301; the NACES agency sends its evaluation (Graduate admissions).
What we do not do
eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.
For Wagner that means we translate your records; the NACES course-by-course evaluation graduate programs require is ordered from an agency.
How to order
- Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
- Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
- Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.
Frequently asked questions
Does Wagner accept a translation from a translation company?
Wagner asks for a certified English translation and does not say who must make it (First-year application requirements and checklist). A certified translation from a professional service such as eVerbary qualifies.
Do I still send the original-language transcript?
Yes. Wagner wants the official copy in the original language of issue, accompanied by the translation (First-year application requirements and checklist).
Do I need a credential evaluation as a first-year applicant?
Wagner's first-year checklist does not ask for one (First-year application requirements and checklist); graduate applicants need a NACES course-by-course evaluation (Graduate admissions).
Which agency should graduate applicants use?
Any NACES member, course by course (Graduate admissions).
Will eVerbary convert my grades to a US GPA?
No. The translation reproduces the grades and the grading scale exactly as they appear. A GPA conversion is credential evaluation, which the institution or an evaluation agency does.
