If you have taken any university-level courses, the same transcripts also go to a NACES evaluation service for a course-by-course evaluation, which we do not provide.

Translation for Parkside, and the same transcripts for the agency

For a first-year applicant who finished secondary school abroad, Parkside reads the record itself: the catalog asks for official transcripts in English translation documenting completion of secondary school (catalog), and the international admissions page asks for the secondary transcripts or mark sheets in English, by mail or by email (international admissions).

At the time you apply you must have completed, or be close to completing, secondary school.

University study changes the file.

If you have taken any university-level courses or finished a degree, the official transcripts go both to Parkside and to a professional evaluation service recognized by NACES for a course-by-course evaluation; Parkside recommends ECE and WES, the evaluation typically takes 3 to 4 weeks, and the agency sends it to Parkside (International academic admissions).

WES wants a translation by a professional translator and not by the applicant; ECE accepts any word-for-word translation in the same format.

Graduate applicants: a translation and an evaluation

Graduate applicants send official transcripts in English translation from every post-secondary institution together with a professional credential evaluation from a NACES member; the graduate catalog recommends ECE, WES or SpanTran (graduate catalog).

SpanTran, now The Evaluation Company, accepts outside translations only from a translator certified by the American Translators Association (TEC); eVerbary can assign one on request through a free quote.

Only the MS in Computer and Information Systems asks for the GRE (International academic admissions).

What an eVerbary translation includes

  • Grades exactly as recorded, with the grading scale the document prints. We never convert marks to a US GPA.
  • A signed certificate of translation accuracy on letterhead, with our contact details, delivered as a PDF you can upload.
  • $24.95 per page of up to 250 words, certification included; 24 hours for one to three pages as standard. Regular clients who need it can get delivery in as little as 30 minutes, on request.

Uploading the translation to UW-Parkside

  • Apply through apply.wisconsin.edu, then send your transcripts with their English translations to UW–Parkside Admissions by mail or by email (International academic admissions).

  • If you studied at university level, send the same transcripts and translations to ECE, WES or another NACES member and ask it to send the course-by-course evaluation to Parkside (International academic admissions).

What we do not do

eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.

For UW-Parkside that means we translate your transcripts; the course-by-course evaluation comes from a NACES agency such as ECE or WES.

How to order

  1. Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
  2. Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
  3. Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.

Frequently asked questions
