UD at a glance
Does it accept eVerbary? Yes
UD asks for official transcripts with certified English translations and does not restrict who translates (international applicants); a certified translation from a professional service such as eVerbary is that kind of translation. Policy checked on October 27, 2026.

UD requirements in detail
Translation
Official transcripts with certified English translations, showing all secondary and post-secondary courses and grades (International student application requirements).
Who may translate
Not stated (International student application requirements).
Evaluation
Mandatory, through an approved service, within 90 days of submitting the application; it may be waived for IB schools or English-speaking American schools on the US 4.0 scale (International student application requirements).
Approved agencies
IEE, ECE and The Evaluation Company (Course Analysis with Verification), Transcript Research (course-by-course) and WES (ICAP course-by-course); evaluations under two years old (International transcript evaluation process).
Exam results
National examination results or official notice of school completion (International student application requirements).
Tests
SAT, ACT or CLT required; TOEFL 80, IELTS 6.5 or Duolingo 110 if those scores fall short (International student application requirements).
The 90-day evaluation clock
UD treats the evaluation as part of the application: it must arrive within 90 days of submission, it is your responsibility, and a late evaluation means the application is withdrawn (International student application requirements).
The approved-vendor page asks you to send transcripts directly to one of five agencies, names the exact report for each, and accepts no other companies; it is written for the Graduate Admissions Office but is the page the undergraduate requirements link to (International transcript evaluation process).
Order the translation first, so it can go to the agency in the same week.
What each evaluation agency asks for the translation
WES wants a word-for-word translation by a professional translator; ECE accepts a complete, literal translation or sells an $85 waiver; IEE wants a certified translator, not the applicant.
The Evaluation Company asks for an outside translator certified by ATA, which eVerbary can assign on request through a free quote. One certified translation can go both to UD and to the agency.

Documents applicants usually translate
- Secondary school transcripts, every year
- National examination results or school completion certificate
- College courses taken during high school
- Post-secondary transcripts, if any
What an eVerbary translation includes
- A complete English translation of every page, stamps, seals and handwritten notes included, laid out like the original so each line can be matched.
- Grades exactly as recorded, with the grading scale the document prints. We never convert marks to a US GPA.
- A signed certificate of translation accuracy on letterhead, with our contact details, delivered as a PDF you can upload.
- $24.95 per page of up to 250 words, certification included; 24 hours for one to three pages as standard. Regular clients who need it can get delivery in as little as 30 minutes, on request.
Uploading the translation to UD
Submit the official transcripts and certified translations with your Common Application file, and send the same records to your chosen agency, which sends the evaluation directly to UD (International student application requirements, International transcript evaluation process).
We can send the translation directly to the admissions office by email on request.
What we do not do
eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.
For UD that means we translate your records; the evaluation is ordered by you from IEE, ECE, The Evaluation Company, Transcript Research or WES.
How to order
- Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
- Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
- Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.
Frequently asked questions
Does the University of Dallas accept an eVerbary translation?
UD asks for certified English translations and does not say who must make them (International student application requirements); a certified translation from a professional service qualifies.
How long do I have to send the evaluation?
90 days from submitting your application (International student application requirements).
Which report should I order?
Course Analysis with Verification from IEE, ECE or TEC, course-by-course from Transcript Research, or WES ICAP course-by-course (International transcript evaluation process).
Can the evaluation be waived?
Possibly, if you attend an IB school or an English-speaking American school using the US 4.0 scale (International student application requirements).
Will eVerbary convert my grades to a US GPA?
No. The translation reproduces the grades and the grading scale exactly as they appear. A GPA conversion is credential evaluation, which the institution or an evaluation agency does.
