How we know · policy checked on October 26, 2026
Texas Woman's University requires a course-by-course transcript evaluation by a NACES or AICE member for international secondary records (first-year), every post-secondary institution abroad (transfer) and all post-secondary work abroad (graduate); the agency sends the report directly, with a copy of the academic documents it received.
TWU's evaluation agencies, such as WES and ECE, accept certified translations from professional services such as eVerbary. You order the translation first and send it to the agency; the evaluation is something we do not produce.
TWU at a glance
Does it accept eVerbary? Yes
TWU asks for a course-by-course evaluation from a NACES or AICE member (undergraduate catalog), and WES, a NACES member, accepts a certified translation from a professional translation service (WES rule), as do ECE, IERF and FCSA. Policy checked on October 26, 2026.

TWU requirements in detail
Translation
No rule of its own; the agency needs the translation to evaluate records not in English (Undergraduate catalog: international student admission).
Who may translate
Set by the evaluation provider; see below.
Evaluation (first-year)
Course-by-course evaluation of international secondary records by a NACES or AICE member (Undergraduate catalog: international student admission).
Evaluation (transfer)
Course-by-course from each international post-secondary institution, plus official US transcripts (Undergraduate catalog: international student admission).
Evaluation (graduate)
Course-by-course for coursework and degrees from all post-secondary schools outside the US, to verify courses, degrees and GPA (graduate catalog).
What the report must include
Course titles, grades, credit hours and GPA, with the provider's recommendation, sent directly with a copy of the documents the agency received (Undergraduate catalog: international student admission).
Exam certificates
GCE, West African School Certificate, Kenya Certificate of Education or similar: at least 5 passes at C or higher, including English, math and science (Undergraduate catalog: international student admission).
What the evaluation agencies ask for the translation
TWU accepts any NACES or AICE member, so the agency's rule applies. WES wants an exact, word-for-word translation by a professional translator and does not accept translations by applicants.
ECE accepts complete, literal translations, including your own, or translates internally for an $85 waiver.
IERF wants a literal, line-by-line translation and may ask for a professional one; FCSA accepts certified translations from most professional agencies.
Some members accept only ATA-certified translators; for those, ask eVerbary for a free quote.
Why the agency forwards your documents
TWU asks the agency to forward, with its report, a copy of the academic documents it received (Undergraduate catalog: international student admission).
The translation you send to the agency becomes part of that package, so it should be complete: every page, stamp and grade, matched to the original.
TWU defines a course-by-course report as one listing individual course titles, grades, credit hours and GPA with the provider's summary, so a document-by-document report will not do.
Student Records then transfers eligible courses, and your academic advisor decides how they apply.

What an eVerbary translation includes
- A complete English translation of every page, stamps, seals and handwritten notes included, laid out like the original so each line can be matched.
- Grades exactly as recorded, with the grading scale the document prints. We never convert marks to a US GPA.
- A signed certificate of translation accuracy on letterhead, with our contact details, delivered as a PDF you can upload.
- $24.95 per page of up to 250 words, certification included; 24 hours for one to three pages as standard. Regular clients who need it can get delivery in as little as 30 minutes, on request.
Uploading the translation to TWU
The translation goes to the NACES or AICE agency with your records; the agency sends its report and a copy of the documents directly to TWU (Undergraduate catalog: international student admission, Graduate catalog: international students).
What we do not do
eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.
For TWU that means we translate your records; the course-by-course evaluation is ordered by you from a NACES or AICE member.
How to order
- Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
- Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
- Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.
