Requirements checked on October 27, 2026 from RCC's public pages (sources).
Rogue Community College in southern Oregon publishes no translation rule of its own: if you completed coursework outside the US, RCC requires a course-by-course or comprehensive evaluation with grades from a current NACES member, mailed directly to RCC, before a transfer credit review.
Rogue Community College's evaluation agencies, such as WES and ECE, accept certified translations from professional services such as eVerbary.
You order the translation first and send it to the agency; the evaluation is something we do not produce.

Sample translation: a Mexican high school certificate
This is what an order looks like when it is delivered, with invented names, school and numbers. The original in Spanish sits next to our English translation, and the PDF starts with the signed certification page. Bracketed text in the translation is a translator's note: each abbreviation is spelled out the first time it appears, and the layout follows the original line for line, so an admissions officer or a credential evaluator can match it without guessing.

What to notice
- CCT, CURP and the state abbreviation Jal. are spelled out in brackets the first time they appear, so an evaluator does not have to look up a Mexican acronym.
- Courtesy and degree titles (C., Mtra., Lic.) are kept as printed and explained once; names keep both surnames in place.
- Grades stay on the 5-to-10 scale the certificate prints, with its minimum passing grade. Converting them is the evaluator's job.
- The six semesters keep the certificate's two columns, and the seal, signatures and QR code are described in brackets where they appear.

RCC requirements in detail
Translation
No rule of its own; the translation is what the evaluator needs.
Who may translate
Evaluation
Coursework outside the US: a course-by-course or comprehensive evaluation with grades from a current NACES member, mailed directly to RCC (Transfer transcripts).
Next step
After RCC receives it, submit a Transfer Credit Evaluation Request; evaluation can take up to eight weeks (Transfer transcripts).
Old courses
Course descriptions are required for classes completed before 1992 (Transfer transcripts).
F-1 admission
F-1 and M-1 students must be 18 or older and/or high school graduates; TOEFL if the home country's official language is not English (AP 5012).
Contact
Enrollment Services, 3345 Redwood Highway, Grants Pass; studentrecords@roguecc.edu (Transfer transcripts).
What each evaluation agency asks for the translation
RCC lets you choose any current NACES member (transfer transcripts). WES requires a precise, word-for-word translation by a professional translator, does not accept translations by applicants and does not translate itself.
ECE accepts complete, literal translations in the original format, including the applicant's own, and sells an $85 waiver to translate internally for the report only.
Ask the agency for a course-by-course or comprehensive evaluation with grades, and have it mailed directly to RCC; only after that do you submit RCC's Transfer Credit Evaluation Request.
Unofficial transcripts for placement
Separately from credit, RCC accepts unofficial transcripts that show college-level writing or math to help with first-term placement; an Admission Coach replies within 72 business hours (Transfer transcripts).
For credit, though, official transcripts must arrive sealed or by secure delivery, and opened transcripts are not accepted as official.
Need a certified translation for RCC?
$24.95 per page of up to 250 words, certification included, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages. See the price before you pay.
Documents applicants usually translate
- College or university transcripts, for the NACES evaluation
- Course descriptions, for courses before 1992
- Secondary school diploma, for F-1 admission
What an eVerbary translation includes
- A complete English translation of every page, stamps, seals and handwritten notes included, laid out like the original so each line can be matched.
- Grades exactly as recorded, with the grading scale the document prints. We never convert marks to a US GPA.
- A signed certificate of translation accuracy on letterhead, with our contact details, delivered as a PDF you can upload.
- $24.95 per page of up to 250 words, certification included; 24 hours for one to three pages as standard. Regular clients who need it can get delivery in as little as 30 minutes, on request.
Uploading the translation to RCC
The translation goes to the NACES agency with your records; the agency mails the evaluation to RCC Enrollment Services, and you then submit the Transfer Credit Evaluation Request (Transfer transcripts).
What we do not do
eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.
For RCC that means we translate your records for the agency; the NACES evaluation is ordered by you, and RCC decides which credits apply.
How to order
- Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
- Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
- Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.
