How we know · policy checked on October 27, 2026
Mitchell College asks international first-year and transfer applicants for an official copy of their secondary transcripts translated into English, with an evaluation from a NACES member, and wants financial documents in English; it does not say who must translate.
Mitchell College accepts certified translations from professional services such as eVerbary. The NACES evaluation is something we do not provide.
Mitchell at a glance
Does it accept eVerbary? Yes
Mitchell's international admission requirements say transcripts "must be translated into English" (apply page) without restricting who translates; a certified translation from a professional service such as eVerbary meets that rule. Policy checked on October 27, 2026.

Translation and evaluation together
Mitchell's list for international applicants puts the two requirements side by side: an official copy of your secondary transcripts, translated into English, and an evaluation from an agency that is a NACES member (apply page).
Translate first and use the same translation for both, so the copy Mitchell reads matches the one the agency evaluated; WES, ECE and other NACES members set their own translation rules (see translation for credential evaluation).
The same applies to transfer applicants, whose college transcripts go to a Transfer Advisor for an unofficial credit evaluation on arrival and an official one with final transcripts after the deposit (transfer).
Bank statements in English, with dollar amounts
Before issuing the I-20, Mitchell documents who will pay for your studies, and asks that all financial documents and bank statements be in English with currency values noted in US dollar equivalents (transfer).
We translate the statement exactly as issued; the dollar equivalents are noted by the bank or sponsor, not converted in the translation.

- A signed certificate of translation accuracy on letterhead, with our contact details, delivered as a PDF you can upload.

Uploading the translation to Mitchell
Send the translated transcripts to Admissions by email to admissions@mitchell.edu or by mail, or have the school use Parchment, Scoir, ScribOrder or the National Student Clearinghouse (Apply to Mitchell College: international applicants). The NACES agency sends its evaluation separately.
What we do not do
eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.
For Mitchell that means we translate your transcripts and bank statements; the NACES evaluation is ordered by you from the agency.
How to order
- Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
- Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
- Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.
