How we know · policy checked on October 27, 2026
Illinois Valley Community College asks international applicants for official transcripts from every institution attended, officially translated into English and showing the date and proof of graduation; it does not say who must translate.
Illinois Valley Community College accepts certified translations from professional services such as eVerbary.
IVCC's international page asks for no credential evaluation, and if one is requested later, it comes from an evaluation agency, not from us.
IVCC at a glance
Does it accept eVerbary? Yes
IVCC asks for transcripts "officially translated into English" and does not restrict who translates (international students); a certified translation from a professional service such as eVerbary is that kind of translation. Policy checked on October 27, 2026.

Not stated (International students).
What must show
The date and proof of graduation (International students).
Evaluation
None mentioned on the international page (International students).
Finances
A bank letter and a notarized statement (International students).
Deadlines
With all documents: June 1 fall, November 1 spring, April 1 summer; review starts only when every record is in (International students).
An official translation that proves graduation
IVCC's checklist asks for two things in the same line: official transcripts from each school attended, officially translated into English, and evidence of the date and proof of graduation (International students).
If your transcript does not state that you graduated, translate the diploma or leaving certificate as well, so the graduation date is in English.
IVCC does not say who must make the translation; a certified translation from a professional service, signed and with a statement of accuracy, is an official translation in the usual sense.
Nothing starts until everything is in
The review of an IVCC application does not begin until all academic and financial records are received, and the deadlines are for a complete file: June 1 for fall, November 1 for spring and April 1 for summer (International students).
The financial proof includes a letter from the bank and a notarized statement. IVCC has no on-campus housing and suggests arriving in LaSalle County 30 days before classes start.

What an eVerbary translation includes
- A complete English translation of every page, stamps, seals and handwritten notes included, laid out like the original so each line can be matched.
- Grades exactly as recorded, with the grading scale the document prints. We never convert marks to a US GPA.
- A signed certificate of translation accuracy on letterhead, with our contact details, delivered as a PDF you can upload.
- $24.95 per page of up to 250 words, certification included; 24 hours for one to three pages as standard. Regular clients who need it can get delivery in as little as 30 minutes, on request.
Uploading the translation to IVCC
Send the official transcripts and their translations to IVCC with your international application documents, before the deadline for your term (International students).
What we do not do
eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.
How to order
- Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
- Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
- Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.
Frequently asked questions
Who can translate my transcripts for IVCC?
IVCC asks for an official English translation and does not say who must make it (International students). A certified translation from a professional service qualifies.
Does IVCC require a credential evaluation?
Its international page does not ask for one (International students).
What if my transcript does not show my graduation date?
IVCC needs the date and proof of graduation (International students); translate the diploma or certificate that shows it.
When is the fall deadline?
June 1, with all required documents (International students).
Will eVerbary convert my grades to a US GPA?
No. The translation reproduces the grades and the grading scale exactly as they appear. A GPA conversion is credential evaluation, which the institution or an evaluation agency does.
