Clinton CC at a glance
Does it accept eVerbary? Yes
Clinton's international application asks for a certified English translation of every document not in English (international application) and only recommends ATA for finding a translator; a certified translation from a professional service such as eVerbary meets it. eVerbary is an ATA corporate member (#273062) and can assign a translator individually certified by ATA on request. A certified translation, and a word about ATA
Clinton asks for original or certified copies of transcripts, mark sheets, grade reports, diplomas and national exam results, certified by the source institution or by an EducationUSA advising center; photocopies and scans do not count as official.
Every document not written in English must come with a certified English translation, and Clinton suggests the American Translators Association directory if you need help finding a certified translator (International student application).
The ATA reference is a suggestion, not a condition.
An eVerbary certified translation meets the rule as written; if you prefer a translator individually certified by ATA, eVerbary can assign one on request through a free quote for Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Chinese, Arabic, Russian, Ukrainian and eight other languages ATA certifies.
The evaluation: which one to order
Clinton does not evaluate on campus, so every international applicant submits a credential evaluation report for high school and university transcripts.
It recommends InCred, WES or The Evaluation Company and spells out the report: document-by-document if you have only a high school transcript; course-by-course if you also have advanced work such as A-levels, CXC or CAPE, or college study abroad.
Caribbean applicants using WES must have CXC send results to WES directly (International student application).
The agency applies its own translation rule. WES accepts a word-for-word translation by a professional translator or agency (WES); The Evaluation Company accepts outside translations only from an ATA-certified translator (TEC). The same certified translation can go to Clinton and to the agency.

Uploading the translation to Clinton CC
Email the certified copies, their certified English translations and the rest of your packet to internationaladmissions@clinton.edu; the evaluation agency sends its report (International student application).
What we do not do
eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.
For Clinton that means we translate your records; the document-by-document or course-by-course evaluation is ordered by you from InCred, WES or The Evaluation Company.
How to order
- Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
- Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
- Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.
Frequently asked questions
Does Clinton Community College require a certified translation?
Yes, for every document not written in English (International student application).
Must my translator be certified by ATA?
No. Clinton recommends the ATA directory as a way to find a translator (International student application). eVerbary can still assign an ATA-certified translator on request: $34.95 per page for Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Chinese, Arabic, Russian and Ukrainian; $44.95 for Japanese, Korean, Polish, Dutch, Swedish, Croatian, Danish and Persian.
Do I need a credential evaluation for Clinton?
Yes. Every international applicant submits one, for high school and university transcripts (International student application).
Which evaluation should I order?
Document-by-document if you have only a high school transcript; course-by-course with A-levels, CXC, CAPE or college work (International student application).
Can I send scans of my records?
Scans are not accepted as official documents; send originals or copies certified by the source institution or EducationUSA (International student application).
Will eVerbary convert my grades to a US GPA?
No. The translation reproduces the grades and the grading scale exactly as they appear. A GPA conversion is credential evaluation, which the institution or an evaluation agency does.
