The court, and the ward registration
A Nepali divorce is granted by a district court and then registered with the local ward office, which issues a certificate. Because registration is local, the paper and layout vary between municipalities.

Nepal dates official documents in Bikram Sambat, roughly 56 years and 8 months ahead of the Gregorian calendar. Subtracting a fixed number does not work: the new year falls in mid-April and the months run between 29 and 32 days by astronomical calculation.
