Colorado College requirements in detail
Translation
Official transcripts issued in languages other than English must be translated into English by a certified translator (Colorado College: international students).
Who may translate
A certified translator.
Timing
Transcripts through the end of the penultimate secondary year at application; midyear and final end-of-year grades later (Colorado College: international students).
How to apply
Common Application or Coalition with Scoir, with no application fee; the counselor submits the school report and evaluation (Colorado College: international students).
English
TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo sent by the testing agency if your native language or school's language is not English (Colorado College: international students).
Transfer credit
The Registrar evaluates credit from official college transcripts sent directly to it; syllabi may be requested; C- or higher (Colorado College: transfer students).
One translation per round of grades
Colorado College reads secondary records in stages: transcripts through the end of your penultimate year with the application, then midyear grades from your final year, then final end-of-year grades (international students).
Each record issued in another language needs its translation by a certified translator, so plan for two or three short orders rather than one.
A certified eVerbary translation of a one-page grade report is delivered within 24 hours at most.
Transfers: the Registrar evaluates
Colorado College does not ask transfer applicants for an outside credential evaluation.
The Registrar prepares the transfer credit evaluation from official transcripts sent directly by each college, and may ask for course descriptions or syllabi to confirm individual courses (transfer students).
Credit requires a C- or better and a regionally accredited degree-granting institution or a program preapproved by CC's Center for Global Education.
If your college records are not in English, ask the Registrar how it wants the translation and syllabi sent.

- A signed certificate of translation accuracy on letterhead, with our contact details, delivered as a PDF you can upload.
- $24.95 per page of up to 250 words, certification included; 24 hours for one to three pages as standard. Regular clients who need it can get delivery in as little as 30 minutes, on request.
Uploading the translation to Colorado College
Your counselor usually submits transcripts through the Common App or Scoir; give the counselor the certified translation to upload with each transcript (Colorado College: international students). eVerbary can email the translation directly to the Office of Admission on request.
What we do not do
eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.
How to order
- Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
- Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
- Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.
