Proof that someone is a student right now
An enrollment certificate says that a named person is currently registered at a named institution, usually for a stated year or term. A constancia de alumno regular, a certificado de estudios, a certificat de scolarité, a Schulbescheinigung, a declaração de matrícula — the format changes, the claim does not.
It is not a transcript and not a diploma. It proves current status, which is exactly what makes it useful to offices that do not care what grades anyone got.
Where it gets asked for
These certificates turn up in places that have nothing to do with admissions:
- Visa files, where a dependent's student status affects their eligibility
- Insurance and benefit claims that continue while a child is in full-time education
- Employers and licensing bodies verifying that training is in progress
- Court and family matters where support depends on a child still studying
- Scholarship, housing and travel-discount applications
The dates are the document
Everything about one of these certificates is time-limited: the term it covers, the date it was issued, and how recent the receiving office requires it to be. Those dates are reproduced exactly and written so a US reader cannot misread them, because 03/04 means different days on different continents.
If you need to show what was studied rather than that someone is studying, you want a transcript instead.
How it works
Upload a photo or a scan of your document, pick the language pair and check out online. You never have to mail originals: a legible copy is all we need.
A professional human translator, never machine translation, translates the document word for word and mirrors the layout of the original. Every certified translation ships with a signed Certificate of Translation Accuracy that meets the requirements of USCIS, courts and universities.
Your translation is delivered digitally, usually within 24 hours for documents of one to three pages, and same-day delivery is available. If anything needs adjusting, we revise it.
Certified vs. standard translation
A certified translation is a word-for-word translation accompanied by a signed statement attesting to its accuracy and completeness. It is what official bodies require: USCIS, courts, universities and government agencies. Certified translations are $24.95 per page, where a page is up to 250 words.
A standard translation is for business or personal use where certification is not needed, such as CVs, client intake forms or marketing material, and is billed at $0.10 per word.
Frequently asked questions
Is an enrollment certificate the same as a transcript?
No. It proves current registration; a transcript shows courses and grades. Offices ask for one or the other and they are not interchangeable.
How recent does mine have to be?
That is set by the office receiving it. The issue date is translated exactly so there is no ambiguity about it.
Can you translate it the same day?
These are short documents, usually a single page, so same-day delivery is normally available. Say so when you order.
