A Ukrainian criminal record certificate is issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and states what was found — including, for most applicants, that nothing was found. That statement is the point of the document, and it is translated in full along with the scope of the search and the period it covers.
Certificates are generated with a date and a reference, and offices that require a recent certificate count from the issue date. Check it against your deadline before ordering a translation.
Obtaining documents during the war
Ukrainian consulates say plainly that obtaining a document from Ukraine can now take an indefinite period, and records held in occupied or damaged territory may not be retrievable at all. If your document cannot be obtained, that is a matter for your attorney and the receiving office, not something a translation can solve — and it is better to know it before you spend money.
